We are grateful to present our annual report for 2009. ZOA Refugee Care has had a good year. We have managed to make a difference in the lives of 1.9 million refugees and displaced persons in eleven countries in Africa and Asia. Despite the world wide financial crisis income from our own constituency has remained stable. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the thousands of private donors, hundreds of companies, schools, churches and many institutional donors for their support. Thanks to them we were able to provide emergency relief and rehabilitation.
An important milestone for ZOA was the founding of the Dutch Consortium for Rehabilitation. Participants are: CARE Nederland, Save the Children, Healthnet /TPO and ZOA. Together we will submit a request for MFS2 funding.
